Kristel and Adam came to the studio with so much excitement to take these photos. You can tell that they’re so happy to finally be able to become parents. They will be welcoming a little baby girl and couldn't think of a better time to announce it then on Valentine's Day. So Kristel brought these cute balloons, baby shoes and other girly props. We know Valentine's Day already came and went, but we had to keep the secret! Here are just a few favorites from their session in our studio. Cannot wait to capture more milestones for this beautiful couple.

This newborn little girl, Summer came by the studio last week with her mommy and daddy. Christian and I got to photograph her for the first time. We loved posing her in all these different outfits. Isn't she adorable?! Here are some of our favorites from Summer's newborn session.
How cute is he?! Noah's mommy reached out to me and wanted to capture some moments of little Noah. He's at such a fun stage. He loves to play with his toes and crawl around. This was such a fun photo shoot!
I really enjoyed spending time with this little guy and his family. We got some really sweet moments of the family and Noah's big brother Krishna. Here are some favorites from their session in our studio. Enjoy!
Teaching has always been a passion for Christian and I. We knew right away when we started Prevailed Studios that we wanted to someday host a photography workshop to teach people the basics of photography and how to begin using their camera. Well, our first photography workshop took place last weekend and it was a hit!
We created workbooks and taught everyone about aperture, shutter speed, ISO, composition and photo gear! Participants even got to work with a model, Kierrah to put their skills to the test at the end of the workshop. Christian and I felt like proud parents that day! Haha! It was so awesome to see that they actually learned something from our workshop. These ladies each have their own unique style of shooting and it's pretty stinkin' cool! Check out some behind the scenes shots and photos taken by some of our participants.
Thank you so much to Patti, Alex, Khadijah, Jollette and Kierrah! We're so glad you came!

If you missed this one...
Our next workshop will take place in July!
Stay tuned for more details!
Brycen came by the studio with his mommy and daddy the other day to take his 1st birthday photos. This little guy is just the cutest ever! We went with a nautical theme for his shoot. I really had a tough time narrowing down the photos from this session because there are just so many I love. Here are just some of our favorites from this 1st birthday session. :)
Our "Beauty & Bling" event was a hit yesterday! Here are a few ladies that had some fun shopping for jewelry, getting makeovers and posing for the camera. We're going to have more events like these so stay tuned to our events page on www.prevailedstudios.com/events

BEFORE & AFTERS
Happy Easter! We had a little bunny visit the studio this weekend. How precious is little Layton? He was so poseable and easy to work with. I'm so in love with this cutie pie! Christian and I have really been enjoying all these newborn sessions. We actually just ordered a ton of new props, wraps and whatnot for some more newborn shoots in the future. We are booking up quickly this Spring, so make sure you reach out to us to book your session soon!
Worship leader, Ashton Davis came up to visit Christian and I in the studio this past weekend. Music and worship is her passion. Ashton is working on getting her social media presence up and running again, so we recorded a song and took some new headshots for her. We've known Ashton since she was about 8 years old, so it's been so awesome watching her grow up and turn into this awesome and unique musician. Her parents were actually our youth pastors when we were in high school! Crazy right?!
Ashton came over and and we put her right in the recording booth. Christian and Ashton worked together on creating a worship mashup. And let me just say... it's sounding amazing so far! Ashton has a really mellow, indie kind of voice. Think of a cross between the singers Daya, Birdy and Kina Grannis. So stay tuned for that final audio track and maybe even a music video! We're so excited to see what God has in store for such a beautiful girl with a beautiful gift. For now, here are some of our favorites from her photo session in the studio.
I cannot believe how big this little girl is getting! Christian and I have been photographing little Miss Aubree since she was a newborn! We always have fun photographing her. Throughout this whole session she had such a fun personality. She was dancing, talking, and being silly. To go along with her Easter dress, we added some subtle spring props. When Christian and I include props, we like to keep it minimal so that the focus is still on the child or subject of the photo. I think this worked out perfectly! Of course it helps that we have an awesome studio to shoot at! Here are some of our favorites from Aubree's session. The many faces of Aubree!
Where to begin with this little one...
She was so wonderful during her newborn session. The heater kept shorting out, she was awake and wiggly, the studio was chilly, but nothing made this little girl cry. She was wide-eyed and beautiful! Nicole (Anna's mommy) and I both talked about how we don't really like the color pink and how baby girls shouldn't have to be covered in pink to be "girly". So I stuck with grays, tans, and more muted colors. I'm so in love with the tones in these images. It really gives the entire shoot a vintage feel. Not to mention I got to photograph this pretty little baby. <3 Here are some of my favorites. Oh my gosh... those feet! -xo, Kristen
Jenny is having a little girl soon and asked me to take some photos to capture this beautiful stage in her life...
her journey to motherhood. We had so much fun shooting in the studio! Can't wait to meet her beautiful baby girl! We also did some maternity boudoir photos, but those are for hubby's eyes only. Here are some of my favorites from her session last weekend. Book your shoot today! -Kristen
