Hope Hill Lavender Farm | Maternity Session

Where to begin with this beautiful family... The Folinos are an amazing family. Marco and Andrea are expecting their second son this August. Lorenzo is so excited to become a big brother, you can just tell! So Andrea asked me to photograph this special moment in their lives. She had this special vision in mind for her maternity shoot and wanted to visit Hope Hill Lavender Farm in Pottsville, PA. This place was so gorgeous!

We had imagined taking photos around golden hour, but when I arrived to the shoot the clouds were blocking the sunlight. Right away Andrea and I thought... "Ughhhh. There's goes that idea." But about 10 minutes into the shoot the sun broke through the clouds and we were so glad it did. This photo session could not have gone any better! Andrea looked stunning and the love for her husband and family really shows in these photos. Big thank you to the owners/farmers at Hope Hill for being so accommodating. We will definitely be back in the future! Also, I can't forget how sweet and gentle the little donkeys were. I enjoyed photographing them as well. Here are some of my favorites from Andrea's maternity session. Christian and I are so blessed to be able to capture these moments for a living. <3

Sara | Spring Maternity Session

Spring is here and I couldn't be more excited! This past weekend I got to photograph this beautiful Mommy-to-be, Sara. The weather was perfect! Her entire session was like a dream. She wore the perfect soft pink bohemian style dress with a delicate flower crown. We actually had scheduled her session for the previous weekend, but changed the date last minute due to rain and I'm so glad we did. This is one of my favorite maternity sessions to date. Between the lighting, her outfit, and the tones in the editing... the final images give you that dreamy fairytale vibe. I love it! Here are some of my favorites from Sara's maternity session.

Jenny | Studio Maternity Session

Jenny is having a little girl soon and asked me to take some photos to capture this beautiful stage in her life...
her journey to motherhood. We had so much fun shooting in the studio! Can't wait to meet her beautiful baby girl! We also did some maternity boudoir photos, but those are for hubby's eyes only. Here are some of my favorites from her session last weekend. Book your shoot today! -Kristen

Silvana's Maternity Session | Let's make it snow!

This mommy-to-be reached out to me months ago to plan for her maternity shoot. We scheduled it for late January with the hopes of blanketed snowy fields to really make her red dress stand out. I was so excited! Well... this winter has been a disappointment as far as snow. So, I had to somehow make it myself! I always love a good challenge.

Nicollette | A rainy day maternity session.

Christian and I photographed Nicollette and Rey on their wedding day two years ago. It's so awesome when we get to grow with our clients and continue to capture special moments for them. So Nicollette reached out to me to setup her maternity shoot. Of course I was excited! We were hoping for it not to be too cold, but guess what, it was not only cold... but it rained ALL DAY. And they were coming all the way from New Jersey so rescheduling would have been tough.

So when it rains, you get a cute umbrella, a couple that doesn't mind getting rained on and hope it works! Voila! It actually looked super cute.

Here are some of my favorites from their session. So glad they toughed out the weather.
We're so excited for the arrival of their little baby girl.

Alicia's Maternity Session

Two years ago I photographed Alicia and her husband Toni, to celebrate their engagement, so it's been quite some time since we last spoke. Well she reached out to me a few weeks ago with some exciting news. They're expecting a baby boy this winter! So of course she wanted to take some maternity photos. I was so excited!

Alicia is about 7 months pregnant in these photos, which was actually perfect. I always advise expecting mothers to take their maternity photos around 7 months or so because at this time mommies have the perfect sized bump that doesn't make them feel uncomfortable or too worn out from taking photos. It also ensures that you actually get some maternity photos, because I've had some cancelled sessions in the past due to early deliveries.

Alicia is absolutely stunning in these. Here are some of my favorites from her session.
