Capturing the first few weeks of a newborn baby's life is special in itself, but there is something so loving and amazing about photographing moments with the whole family. You get to take a peek into their family and capture real moments in their home. Little baby Luca was born only a couple weeks ago and has been showered with so much love from his parents and older brother Lorenzo. It was such an honor photographing them. These are the moments that fill your heart with so much love and warmth. I can't wait to continue to capture more beautiful stages of the Folino family's life. Here are just some of my favorites from their session.
Welcome to the world baby Alessio! Congratulations to Jackie and Stefano on their beautiful baby boy. I was so excited when Jackie reached out to me and asked me to photograph Alessio. I typically do newborn sessions in our studio, but I always jump on the opportunity to do in-home sessions. There's something so much more intimate and beautiful about taking photos with your child in your home. This little guy is such a cutie! Look a that smile! <3 Daddy had to work, but we got some great moments with Mommy and her little boy. Here are some of my favorite images from the session.
This newborn little girl, Summer came by the studio last week with her mommy and daddy. Christian and I got to photograph her for the first time. We loved posing her in all these different outfits. Isn't she adorable?! Here are some of our favorites from Summer's newborn session.
Happy Easter! We had a little bunny visit the studio this weekend. How precious is little Layton? He was so poseable and easy to work with. I'm so in love with this cutie pie! Christian and I have really been enjoying all these newborn sessions. We actually just ordered a ton of new props, wraps and whatnot for some more newborn shoots in the future. We are booking up quickly this Spring, so make sure you reach out to us to book your session soon!
We can't get enough of all these newborns, especially Jace! This little man stole my heart the minute I saw that hair! OMG! His Mommy and Daddy, Silvana and Matt are so blessed to have such a beautiful baby. We were so happy to photograph baby Jace because we actually photo graphed Silvana and Matt's wedding too. Actually, the day they came to the studio with their son, marked exactly one year since we photographed them on their wedding day April 1, 2016. How cool is that!?
Here are some of the best from Jace's session. If you guys haven't noticed yet, our newborn sessions tend to be very organic and not so "proppy" and posed. We feel that overusing props and large decorations really takes away from admiring the miracle of each unique child. We hope you like what you've been seeing. There is more to come for our newborn portfolio!
Look at those eyes! Little Ezra came by the studio and we had so much fun capturing this little guy. Although, he did not make it easy! He is such an active little boy. He was already trying to hold up his head and moving his arms everywhere. He really tired himself out by the end of the shoot! We captured some really precious moments that Mommy and Daddy will cherish forever. Here are some of our favorites from the shoot.
Where to begin with this little one...
She was so wonderful during her newborn session. The heater kept shorting out, she was awake and wiggly, the studio was chilly, but nothing made this little girl cry. She was wide-eyed and beautiful! Nicole (Anna's mommy) and I both talked about how we don't really like the color pink and how baby girls shouldn't have to be covered in pink to be "girly". So I stuck with grays, tans, and more muted colors. I'm so in love with the tones in these images. It really gives the entire shoot a vintage feel. Not to mention I got to photograph this pretty little baby. <3 Here are some of my favorites. Oh my gosh... those feet! -xo, Kristen
This little one kept staring straight at me during the beginning of her shoot and I loved every minute of it! Scarlette is such an alert little baby! I had a lot of fun photographing her. We did a few different setups during the session. My favorite by far are the ones we captured of her snuggled in daddy's kick drum. Too cute! Here are some of the best! Welcome to the world cutie pie.
This was such a fun time! We got to photograph this beautiful family in the comfort of their own home. I've done a lot of family sessions, but not many like this. This was so raw and unposed. These are the moments I live for! Here are some of my favorites from the Schulze family session. I'm really hoping to be able to do more family and couple sessions like this in the future. :)
Where to being with these two cuties! There are so many babies entering into our lives lately and I couldn't be more excited. Fiona is our newest niece and Delilah is her little cousin. I love to see the family grow. So, of course we had to have a newborn session with the two of them. It was amazing to discover both of their little personalities by doing this shoot. Fiona has the little 'tude and Delilah just wants to sleep, sleep, sleep. Aren't they precious?!
Avery was the teeniest tiniest newborn I have ever handled, but she was so perfect. I had a lot of fun posing her and changing all her outfits. Typically newborn sessions are an hour, but I was having so much fun that we spent over two hours with her.
I'm so grateful that Terrence and Lindsay asked me to photograph their new bundle of joy. We got some many great photos of her. But let me tell you... newborn photography is a WORKOUT! From squatting and bending, I woke up sore the next morning. However, it was totally worth it.
